Kristen Bell brings the hotness to Heroes.
***Warning, potential Heroes spoilers***
So I was watching the latest episode of Heroes (Season 2 Episode 5) and it’s all pretty hum drum when all of a sudden Veronica Mars shows up! Holy crap. For those of you who don’t know, Veronica Mars is one of my favourite TV shows of all time. What is Veronica Mars? To quote wikipedia:
Veronica Mars is a critically-acclaimed American teen drama/mystery neo-noir series. The show starred Kristen Bell as the title character: a student, progressing from high school to college during the series, who moonlights as a private investigator under the wing of her detective father. Said to be “a little bit Buffy and a little bit Bogart”, the show balanced murder mystery, high school and college drama, and social commentary with sarcasm and off-beat humor.
I highly recommend the show, especially the first two seasons. I’ll just call her Veronica for now coz I’m not sure of the characters’ actual name. So anyway, Veronica shows up all of a sudden in Heroes and she’s looking for Peter Petrelli who got somehow shipped off to Ireland in a container after the big boom at the end of season 1. And the thing is, Kristen Bell’s character is behaving a lot like Veronica Mars. Carrying a picture of Peter and asking people where to find him, etc. Very private investigator-like. It just makes me miss Veronica Mars even more. Also we find out where Peter got his lightning powers from: Veronica.
So the fact that Kristen Bell has showed up on Heroes has increased the watchability(if that’s an actual word) of the show. I’m definitely looking forward to the next episode more so than I was before she turned up.
