Again, neglected my blog…
I just updated my wordpress to 2.0.2 and my theme to 1.5.
It’s been quite a while I admit, but i guess the people who know me and have been visiting this blog over the years won’t find it surprising. This must be the 6th time I’ve gone on hiatus since I started blogging. Maybe more.
Anyway, I have the day off tomorrow, so I felt happy enough to post. Yeah, having a day off from work is what lifted my mood enough to finally post in my blog. I guess that must mean work is making me depressed? I don’t know. I keep telling myself to find a new job but it’s been a rather busy past month at work. It’s all over now though, which is why I was given a day off (Yay!) so I suppose I should begin seriously looking for a new job.
The reason I want to actually switch jobs is that I need something more consistent in terms of working hours and salary. Right now, I have a fixed salary per month, and a pretty low one at that. On top of that, I have to work overtime without overtime pay. So it’s getting a little frustrating. The good thing about this job though it that I have a great boss and fantastic colleagues. Also I’m always on the move and not stuck in an office all day. I wonder if I’ll find a job with the same kind of fun atmosphere as this one. Ah well, can’t have it all I guess.
I will be purchasing a digital video camera soon, maybe tomorrow even, and start using it like crazy. Finally do all the features involving video for the UsDudes site. All those spoof commercials, short films, etc ideas that we’ve been tossing out during our weekly meet ups. I’ve been getting a lot of ideas and inspiration from all the stuff you can find on Google Video and Youtube.
Hopefully I’ll be posting some short clips or films here on this blog as well as the the UsDudes main site. And they should be funny, too. Hmmm…
