My Imaginary Life 03
Shah is standing behind the kitchen counter dropping some ice cubes into two glasses of water. Jo is sitting on a stool on the other side of the counter.
Shah: Sorry, this is all I have to offer. This and I have some fruits.
Jo laughs.
Jo: It’s fine. You just moved in!
Shah hands Jo one of the glasses. Jo is about to take a sip but pauses.
Jo: Maybe we should toast to something.
Shah: Toast?
Jo: Yeah. An official moving-in celebratory toast.
Shah: Hmm. Alright.
Shah studies Jo for a bit then raises his glass of water.
Shah: To world peace.
Jo is taken aback but then raises her glass to his.
Jo: Ah? Oh.. Um.. to world peace.
Shah is amused.
Shah: You don’t seem to like world peace.
Jo: Oh no.. World peace is great! I love world peace! I just thought the toast should be more… personal.
Shah: Oh? Like what?
Jo: Mmm. To new neighbours and new friendships.
Shah: I’ll toast to that. And to new possibilities.
Shah smiles at Jo and she blushes every so slightly.
They clink their glasses and have a sip.

Hmm? What kind is that? You can tell from this entry?
I suppose it will be true of the rest of the story.
