Fanfiction is fun!
If you’re bored and would like to escape reality for a while, I suggest you go the the above site and start reading. They’ve got fanfiction for almost everything - Anime, Books, Cartoons, Comics, Games, Movies & TV Shows.
Ok, not every fanfic on the site is great. But I must say there are some really good fantastic writers out there. And the variety is HUGE! So far I’ve been reading some fanfiction written by this guy named Steve Oyervidez. He has written an absolutely riveting eight part story based on one of my favourite TV Shows of all time, Cupid. Anyway, if you are also a fan of the show, you have to read the story which can be found at Steve’s website or the Cupid Fanfiction.net page.
It’s so beautifully written, the dialogue is fantastic and the characters were spot on exactly like the tv show. As I was reading it, I could picture the whole thing in my head like I was actually watching it as a TV show or more like a movie actually. But what I really like about it is the characters and the details the author put in to bring out the emotions that they go through. I truly felt for the characters and because of the nature of the story, nothing is clear cut. No one just falls in love just like that and there’s a happy ending immediately. There are so many obstacles and you wish for the two main protagonists to get through them.
Zhaki is probably going to point out my weird fascination with Jeremy Piven but he is a really good actor! Oh, and Zhaki.. sorry for not updating the usdudes site while you were gone. I’ll put something up soon. No really. I promise. From this moment forth, I shall post one item on the usdudes site for every two posts on my on blog. Is that fair? I think it is. So let it be that.
Anyway, some other good fanfic’s I’ve come across are scripts for sitcoms. One that got me really laughing was this one called The Milkman based on Seinfeld. Make sure you read it, scumbag! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! Wooo… you have to read it to get why I’m laughing.
