Presenting: The Singaporean Maldivian
So I changed my blog title and tagline to something that I guess represents me to a certain extent. I would elaborate but I’m sure those of you who already visit this site already know the history.
Oh Nic, how she flatters me so. But it was quite funny, even if I do say so myself. Friday was a good night for me. Actually, what usually happens is I bail out on a joke too quickly, like when I put on a straight face and say things and after a few seconds, I’ll go “No la, I didn’t say that” or “That didn’t really happen.” I think I’ll try to just run with it next time.
Anyway, another funny thing that happened that day:
Nic, Jeremy and I are walking down orchard road chatting. Nic begins bothering Jeremy by bumping into him.
Jeremy: Stop bumping into me.
Nic: Why?
Jeremy: Because it’s irritating.
Me: (to jeremy)You’ll only encourage her.
Nic continues bumping into him.
Me: (to nic)Maybe he actually WANTS you to bump into him.
Jeremy: Not everyone thinks like you, Azmi.
Me: Like what?
Jeremy: Not everyone thinks of using reverse psychology to get girls to molest them.
Me: Now there’s an idea.
Me: (to nic) Hey you! Don’t molest me!
I do remember Nic burst out laughing. Hysterically even. And once again, I come up with material for a potential comic strip or sitcom.
But I do agree with Nic that everything is better on video. How I wish I have my own miniDV camera. I’d probably be making short films about all sorts of stupid and weird things. One every week! And I’ll post it up on my blog! Darn it.

“Don’t look at me!”
“Don’t touch me!”
And don’t forget the part where you turned around to the other two girls when you decided to use reverse psychology.
