Yea, I’m still alive… barely.
Well, seems I only get back to updating my blog when i am reminded that there are people who still care about me and wonder where I am or how I’m doing. Boy, does that sound pathetic… I think I stop blogging just to see if people still care. And they do. People like Zhaki, Shah, Farhan and Nicole. Love you guys.. and girl. Heh.
So I’m moving! Moving house that is. Not moving the house literally, I mean shifting to a new home. Yeah. I just realised how weird ‘moving house’ sounds. Do people other than Singaporeans say that? Is it a singlish term? Nevermind. So we got the keys to the new house about a month before the lease of the previous house ends. That is so we have the entire month of February to move. We did that because when we first moved to our current place a couple of years ago, we had to do it one just ONE day. It was terribly messy and super tiring.
We’re not moving that far either ahah.. just across the hall. Really. We’re moving from unit #08-15 to #08-12. It’s a bigger place. with one more bedroom and bathroom. My new room is quite big but the view sucks. Not that I’ll be looking out the window much. It’s almost like a prison. Just one window looking between two buildings. I’ll post pics later so you get what I mean.
Work has been getting me down lately. I can’t wait to quit. But I still have to. Wait that is. Just three more months and I’m outta there. That will make it officially one year and so would look better on a resume than 9 months work experience. I’d look like a job hopper which is quite bad. Even if this is the only job I’ve had so far. Then there’s the problem of getting a new job. All I have is this stupid diploma in multimedia software engineering of which I’ve forgotten almost everything I’ve learnt because I haven’t been practicing. Correction, I haven’t the time to practice. Whoa.. I suddenly could hear the voices of hundreds of self-help gurus saying “If you really wanted to practice, you would have made time (you lazy bastard).”
I also finally got my annual bonus (pro-rated to 9 months) and also got all my handphone bills for the past 8 months paid. Woohoo. I’m rolling in dough. And by dough I mean money.
I’m not really keeping up to my resolution of losing weight and becoming all slim and fit by my sister’s wedding day. But I still have about three months which my colleague says is still enough time. I sure hope so.
I guess I’ll stop here for now and hopefully I’ll continue updating regularly.
