The Aftermath

So my birthday weekend was pretty humdrum. Not that I expected anything really. Birthdays to me have lost it’s appeal really. I don’t see the need to celebrate them… well my birthday anyway. Good things about birthdays I guess is the calls, smses and emails you get from those old friends which you haven’t been in contact with in a while. Nice to know they remember or got reminded or actually bothered to pick up the phone and wish me happy birthday.

Let’s see, I got 2 presents. A crappy ornamental plane coated in 24K gold and with swarovski crystals on them bought by my colleague from the gift shop downstairs at our office building. And my parents do know me best, they gave me the best present - cash. So I’ll be getting the Batman comics myself then. heh. Wonderful.

What else happened this weekend… the gang got to talking about the UsDudes website again. Somewhat in more detail. We have an idea for a weekly comic which is very promising actually. And then there are the bigger ideas of like finally getting a DV camera and doing more short films like Project Loser. Yep. Those of you who have seen it probably think we should make more short films like that. Oh and those of you who haven’t, I think I will be uploading a compressed version of the video sometime soon.. like once I figure out how to work some of these codecs for the best compression to quality ratio. Keep your pants on.

Oh, I’ve been downloading this new improv show now showing on the WB in the states called Drew Carey’s Green Screen Show. It sorta replaces the now cancelled Whose Line Is It Anyway?. But I have to say, it’s pretty damn good. You should check it out. And if you wanna know where to download these, try tvtorrents.net. You gotta use bittorrent to download the episodes. For BitTorrent Clients, try Torrent Storm.
