Woot! A New Blog!
okay. So i’ve moved my blog over to my own subdomain at www.usdudes.com and downloaded and installed wordpress, a free php coded blogging software. I like it’s features but i have not yet had the time to design my own template for it yet. The one you see right now is a template downloaded from here. Couldn’t manage to import over the comments from the previous blog though.
Okay, let’s update. It’s now Ramadhan which, in case you’ve been living in a cave all your life, is the fasting month for muslims everywhere. So i’ll wish everyone Ramadhan Mubarak.
Let’s see. I’ve decided to actually release myself from a bit of the guilt of having spent money on the webspace for www.usdudes.com and not using it. So yea, i decided to just muck around with it and I ended up switching my blog over here. pretty neat actually. And I actually might get around to updating the actual website itself, but the thing is, i really don’t know what to do with it. I mean, design wise.
Well, the current incarnation of the usdudes domain is this. And i was actually in the midst of updating it to something like this, which if you look carefully, is basically the same layout. Farhan, Zhaki and I have been discussing other possible layouts for the website but we haven’t really decided on anything.
Anyway, hopefully my PR application will be accepted and then I can find a new job with more humane working hours. Maybe even just work part time and try to concentrate more on getting this damn website done!
I’m also wishing I had more money. I really would like to get that panasonic DV cam which i’m always talking about. and i also want to upgrade my computer for the upcoming release of halflife 2. Well, I’ve managed to actually save a thousand dollars this month because i get a ramadhan bonus and i think i’ll be able to save another thousand next month. And now i’m not sure if i want to spend it. I really should be saving my money. Sigh.
