Future girlfriends and Parents’ anniversary dinner.
Well, let’s see…
On Friday night, i met Wanting for dinner… hehe.. but alas her parents got mad when she came home (it wasn’t that late) and promptly got all her computer privileges removed. Heh. Sorry dearie.
On Saturday night, i met the Zhak, Jib and Boes for are weekly Daud session. Only 4 of us were there this time but we ended up talking quite a bit. One part that comes to mind was.
Jib: I can’t wait til the day all of you have girlfriends.
Me: Yes, I can’t wait for that day either.
Zhak: Yes, we’ll all get girlfriends… all at the same time… and it’ll happen to be the same girl…
And suddenly all of us thought that it would be a great plot for a sitcom or dramedy(which is a combination of drama and comedy. And no, i didn’t make it up. I’m pretty sure i heard and seen the word being used before). Alas, we were trying to think up a suitable story for it and the delivery but couldn’t come up with anything suitable or that doesn’t come off sounding cliched.
Sunday was my parents anniversary and we went for dinner. Here’s a soundbite. Er.. textbite?
(in the middle of dinner)
Dad: Wow, time sure does fly…
Me: Oh, what time is it now? (checking watch)
Dad: …30 years we’ve been married.
So that was pretty stupid of me. Everyone had a good laugh at my expense. That included my sister’s boyfriend who joined us.
Today is my mum’s birthday. But we had celebrated it yesterday as well. Also, Boes came over today. O_O Yea, he was that bored. That he would actually come all the way over here eventhough i do not have a playstation! It’s amazing!
