Neil Humphrey’s new book is funny. Also wish i could draw.
Hmm.. it’s wednesday.. a nice warm slow wednesday… ah..
yesterday was fun though… met Wanting for lunch and just hung out at the Post Centre… hehe.. I arrived early, and while waiting i went down to Popular Bookshop to browse around. One of my friends had just bought the book the other day so I picked up Neil Humphrey’s Notes from an even Smaller Island and began reading. I was hooked after just the Prologue.. this guy is hilarious.. haha.. i had forgotten how funny he was but i do remember laughing out loud sometimes in the MRT when i read his column in the Today newspaper on my way to school. So when Wanting arrived, i absolutely couldn’t put the book down, so i bought it. $13.42. Not too bad.
I managed to finally develop the photos from my trip to sentosa a month and a half ago… haha… looking at all the photos… there weren’t any really good photos… i mean.. they’re all focused and have good lighting.. but we’re not doing anything in them… usually just sitting down somewhere… or walking around… so boring.. haha… must make a mental note to take more “action shots” next time…
after seeing Wanting home, i then went to meet Nic, Greg and Shan for dinner at Pizza Hut, Tampines Mall. Had that new Cheesy Pizza. It has 6.. or was it 7.. different kinds of cheeses on it!! WOW!! hehehe.. Well, i’m not really a cheese person, but the pizza wasn’t bad. After dinner, we spent the rest of the evening at Starbucks, just chatting. Nic and Greg had brought their sketch books and were busy sketching away… they can draw pretty good.. and Nic had some hilarious comic strips written up… they are worthy of being published, in my opinion, in one form or another. The internet being the most viable option i guess. =) Are you reading this, Nic? *pokes Nic*
