At NUS with Nic.
NUS was um.. an interesting place.. haha… although being able to see the singtel tower from NUS made me reminisce about Singapore Poly and all the fun times i had there… with all my friends.. *sigh*. Oh, the singtel tower is this odd shaped building that stands exactly at SP. You can see it here in the distance.
Anyway, it’s been a while since i’ve spent time with Nic and it really was quite fun. Had lunch at NUS. Mee Rebus. It was not bad.. for it’s price. $1.70 for a bowl plus a bagadel(something like a potato fritter?).. ok.. maybe the bowl was a little small. Anyway, the reason i was in NUS with Nic was that she had to collect her laptop which she had sent for servicing. After all that, we took a bus…. a bus i thought would take us directly to parkway parade, or close, but DIDN’T!.. and it must have been the longest bus trip we’ve ever had. about an hour? i think. Number 33.
Anyway, we eventually arrived at Parkway and played pool for about 2 hours i think. Damn, i thought i learnt something while watching the pros play pool on TV. They were showing the World Pool Championships on cable but obviously none of it helped my game. I was too hopeful i guess. haha…
In other news, I’ve been selling off some of my old computer parts, since i got an upgrade. So far made $190. =D Woohoo!!
