Another good day out with friends.
Well, i don’t know why i waited til today to right about yesterday… but.. anyway, i met with Yo in the afternoon and just hung around bugis.. both of us ended up buying new wallets at The Wallet Shop. She got a ‘condom wallet’ so aptly named because of certain compartments in it specially made for condoms.. haha.. not that she’s um.. that kinda girl. oops.. Don’t kill me, Yo! Well anyway, it was a nice wallet.. the design and all.. had a illustration of cows’ udders on it. weird, but nice. Just that it was called a condom wallet..
My own wallet was a little more conventional.. ok.. a LOT more conventional. typical guys wallet almost. but i liked the material. not leather, but very… soft. haha. some kind of leather i guess. suede? i really can’t tell the difference between fabrics… Anyway, i used my debit card for the first time!!! to buy it’s new home. hee… i dunno… felt pretty good signing for something instead of keying in pin numbers… made me feel more adult i suppose.. although it was just a fleeting sense of maturity.
Had lunch with Yo at burger king.. again.. and later tea at starbucks.. just trying to kill time.. went to kinokuniya.. came across some pretty interesting books… like Tim Burton’s ‘The Melancholy Death Of Oyster Boy and other stories’. Pretty good stuff… morbid and demented.. but good.. i wonder what kind of childhood he had.. i mean.. c’mon, ‘The Boy With Nails In His Eyes’?!? although i thought ‘Robot Boy’ was pretty good. heh.
So later, in the evening, Yo left and i met up with Nicole, Huishan & Jiaxiu. Nicole was dressed rather elegantly apparently because of some dress code her friend stipulated for a movie earlier that day. Jiaxiu rebonded her hair and Huishan was looking as cute as always. So we went to have dinner at Fish & Co… again.. Huishan says if anybody suggests going there again, she’ll whack him/her. Xuzi joined us during dinner.
Nicole was cracking up as usual until she couldn’t speak properly. We were trying to decide which xmen we were… She said Grean Jay.. it was funny at the time. doesn’t seem that funny now that i’m writing this. i guess i can’t write that well then.. ahahhaa.. and yea! nic & i played foosball in topshop!! that game is addictive and extremely fun too.. i gotta get me one of those.. haha…
